For the business owner seeking a bank loan, this session will give specific details to prepare you to meet with prospective lenders – the forms, the questions, the process, the timing! The panel will define the loan application process, from initial conversations with a banker through commitment letter. The panel will give a list of key questions that every business owner should have well-rehearsed before scheduling a meeting to discuss a loan request. A key feature is that potential borrowers will learn about bank’s internal decision process – from the loan officer to the underwriter. “Lender lingo” will be demystified by our panelists, and business owners will gain valuable advice to improve probabilities of loan approval.
