Do you ever feel like there’s so much to do but so little time? That’s exactly how we feel during Small Business Month! From the Small Business Expo to the 2017 Crowns of Enterprise Awards Ceremony to learning about starting a business, the construction industry, financing and more, there are so many opportunities to get involved…and that’s just this week’s events!

If you’ve been following along with our #31daysofbiz celebration, then you already know that we’re showcasing one local business owner every day, and today’s entrepreneur is Rhonda Riley of Au’gust Mercantile, a home and lifestyle exchange that is open during the week and runs a local market every Sunday, where they feature goods from local artisans. CBRbiz.com: If you had to choose one thing, what would you want to be the best in the world at?

Rhonda Riley: Being a Mentor to new women business owners. The Mentoring I have received at the Women’s Business Center of Charlotte has been life changing!

Rhonda Riley: Using items in displays in ways that are not common. Such as, turning a table upside down atop another table or using a cotton paper flower as the head on a dress form!

CBRbiz.com: How would you like for people to remember you? And your business?

Rhonda Riley: As a woman who did not give up on her dream! As being part of the Loray Mill Community, not just a store, and that we played a role in seeing it brought back to life.
