Today, we want to introduce you to a very special entrepreneur: Kita McNeill of Nurturing Nurses Homecare, a company licensed to provide homecare services in North and South Carolina. Kita started her business as an agency in 2012, and incorporated in 2013. With hard work and help from local resources like Charlotte Works, Kita now has a staff of 15, with plans of expanding.

Kita McNeill: My perfect work space is a place that promotes creativity, serenity and openness to relax. I find that colors and your environment play a major role in productivity. Colors and a positive energy environment are inviting and promote the natural behaviors, reveal the true people, and allow the open door policy I have.

Kita McNeill: The personal habit that has contributed most to my success is research. I constantly conduct research to stay up to date on the latest healthcare trends and topics to provide the best quality care for my clients. I make it my mission to service my clients as if they are my first priority every time.

Kita McNeill: The most exciting moment of my entrepreneurial journey was when I recieved my license. Undergoing the rigorous application process to be aligned with compliance to serve my clients was an act of faith. I have learned that, no matter how hard it seems, to never give up and be patient with myself–I earned this moment.
