Is it just us, or are Mondays just a little bit brighter during Small Business Month? We’re so excited to present today’s #31DaysofBiz spotlight, we might not even need (too much) coffee!
As you know, every day during Small Business Month, we’re featuring one local small business owner, and today, we’re turning the spotlight on Bianca Capo. Bianca is a veteran, she spent over 20 years working as a financial consultant, and now, she is a Certified Strengths-based Coach and founder of Strengthen-the-Team. She works with individuals and groups to help them focus on and integrate their strengths into business, life and beyond. She’s also worked with the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina, utilizing their mentorship programs to help her better understand resources and business strategies.
CBRbiz.com: If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Bianca Capo: I would have the super power of zapping everyone with unconditional love, underpinned by the ability to be non-judgmental and accepting of others for who they are, starting with ourselves.
CBRbiz.com: Which personal habits do you think have contributed to your success?
Bianca Capo: Determination coupled with the “courage” to learn as I go (not needing to have all the answers right now). My vision leads me. Jumping in with confidence to tackle what I must do, and how I must show up – prepared, focused, and authentic.
CBRbiz.com: What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Bianca Capo: I say that my “purpose” is the person or organization that wants to engage, grow and be intentional about their outcomes. For this to happen, it takes a new level of self-awareness and self-management with clear goals and an action plan. I enjoy facilitating and being (which includes learning alongside them) on this journey with my clients. Together we rise!
