In 2013, a local entrepreneur visited Self-Help Credit Union for help with financing; she was hoping to expand the business she’d opened in 2009. This entrepreneur is Michelle Holland, and her business is Eagle Bus Service, a local company dedicated to providing student transportation for Charlotte and surrounding school areas.
Since then, Eagle Bus Service has more than quadrupled in growth and now offers their services to public, private and charter schools. And today, nearly 10 days into Small Business Month, we’re honored to feature Michelle and her business as today’s #31DaysofBiz business spotlight.
CBRbiz.com: If you could go back and give yourself a piece of advice when you first started, what would it be?
Michelle Holland: Always value your service. Do not allow your hard work to be undervalued by discounting your prices.
CBRbiz.com: What are three things that you can’t live without?
Michelle Holland: I cannot live without love, my family, and my team leaders at Eagle Bus Service. They go above and beyond…just like family!
CBRbiz.com: If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Michelle Holland: The power to erase fear – the root of all that holds us back.
