Carolina Small Business Development Fund is a statewide nonprofit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides small business loans and financial training to startups and existing businesses in North Carolina. Since 1990, their mission has been to foster economic development in underserved communities by providing capital, business services and policy research to support small businesses. Their primary activities include small business lending, business services and policy research, as well as their Western Women’s Business Center in Asheville, NC.

STARTING

Carolina Small Business Development Fund offers lending assistance to startups and existing businesses that have difficulty accessing financing through traditional lending sources. Counseling and Training

The Western Women’s Business Center is an initiative established by Carolina Small Business Development Fund to provide start-up and existing women-owned businesses with access to resources and support.
